For an established player in the Belgian insurance sector, we're looking for a Domain Architect with a passion for IT architecture and change. You'll be part of the Architecture Guild, embedded in agile delivery teams, bridging Enterprise Architecture principles with domain-specific needs across the core insurance and finance domains.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the architecture, design and roadmap of all applications within the domain.
• Lead the modernization of the policy administration landscape.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, reusable, process-aligned architectures.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and compliant, with an end-to-end view across domains.
• Act as the architecture contact point for core insurance and finance.
• Collaborate closely with the Domain IT Lead, Enterprise Architect, Security Officers and Scrum teams.

What you bring

• 10+ years in application architecture, software design or technical leadership.
• Strong grasp of enterprise IT landscapes, ideally in financial services.
• Solid knowledge of integration patterns (API, event-driven) and concepts (SOA, microservices, micro front-ends).
• Hands-on with architecture modelling tools/frameworks (e.g. ArchiMate, Orbus).
• Cross-app development knowledge (React Native, React.js).
• Good knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a plus) and API design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
