For a large Belgian enterprise we are looking for an experienced Data Integration Engineer to join a foundational team building and maintaining the company's data platform.

Your role

• Design and implement solutions for effective data management (data quality tooling, master data management, …)
• Develop and maintain the data integration layer connecting platforms and applications
• Set up and maintain continuous build, testing and monitoring to guarantee performance and reliability
• Bring technical and infrastructure expertise on the data platform tooling (queue manager, distributed cache, audit and monitoring)
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
• Provide second and third line production support

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience on the .NET/Microsoft platform
• Experience with integration, scheduler, audit/trace and monitoring frameworks
• Strong knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), XML, flat files and messaging/event streaming solutions
• Practical experience with distributed architecture patterns (sync & async) and distributed caching
• Experience with automated unit/integration testing and continuous integration
• Comfortable administering tools in a mixed Windows/Unix environment
• Agile mindset, strong communication skills and willingness to go beyond your core profile (e.g. data engineering tasks)
• Fluent in English

• Start: ASAP — end of 2026, with possible extension
• Fulltime (min. 80%), freelance
